What we support

The Egmont Foundation provides three main types of support: support for initiatives targeted at children and young people at risk, direct grants to children and young people at risk and their families, and support for talent development in the film industry through the Nordisk Film Foundation.

Support for initiatives targeted at children and young people at risk with focus on three key problems:

Inadequate parenting skills

We support initiatives that help children and young people from homes with inadequate parenting skills to ensure that they  are spotted early and receive support and stimulation to achieve learning and life skills.

Learning difficulties

We support initiatives that help children and young people with learning  difficulties to ensure that they receive support and stimulation to achieve learning and life skills.

Low self esteem

We support initiatives that help children and young people with low self  esteem to ensure that they receive support and that their self esteem and confidence is strengthened and thereby achieve increased resilience, self-knowledge and optimism.

A Helping Hand

Since 1920, the Egmont Foundation has provided a helping hand to the most disadvantaged people in our society. Today, we support children and young people at risk seen from an economic, social or health perspective.

The Nordisk Film Foundation

Nordisk Film is part of the Egmont Group, and the Nordisk Film Foundation supports talent development and thereby promotes the good film story.
